So happy for my panda friends who are receiving referrals today! I believe the cut off is 1/12/06 which is only 3 days unfortunately. However, I heard a rumor that 1/12/06 was very big.

It's official..... I'M GOING TO CHINA!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be leaving Savannah on Wednesday, May 21st and flying into LA. I will then join my travel group and we will leave from LA to Shanghai on Thursday, May 22nd. We will then have a few days in Shanghai before we travel onto Nanchang, which is the capital of Jianxi province which is Ellie's province!!! We will then meet the babies the day we get to Nanchang, which will be Sunday, May 25, 2008!!!! That is when I'll meet ELLIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to be a mommy on 5/25/08!!!!!!!! We will then tour Nanchang and hopefully be able to make it to Fenyi as we'll be in Jiangxi that whole week finishing up paperwork. We'll then fly to Guangzhou on Sunday, June 1st which is where the American Consulate is before flying home Wednesday, June 4th. Ellie Joy LuMing, Aunt Lisa and I will arrive home on Thursday, June 5th!!!!
I can't believe this is happening!!! I have so much to do before 5/21!!!! AHHH!!!!

So I'm NEXT!!!!!!!!!! However these few weeks are going SO SLOW!!! I had a wonderful Easter weekend with my family and it is so exciting to think that next Easter I will have Ellie with me!!! Even the next holiday I will have at least Ellie's picture! I just can't stand it much longer.
There are no rumors yet as to when referrals will be coming in. I'm hoping for next week with a referral on March 31st, but it may be the end of that week. Can't wait to hear all about Miss Ellie Joy D'Angelo!!!!!!!!
First of all, I'm NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's right, I will see my sweet baby's face next month! I have probably 4 weeks to go until I see my baby girl! Referrals came in on 3/4/08 for families who had a log in date through 1/4/06. That means that I am SO close!!! After 27 months of waiting, I will see my baby girl's picture which means most likely traveling in late May/early June.
I have also decided to change my baby's name. Lately, I've had the desire to go back to Ellie. Don't know why, but just feel that her name is not Megan, but rather it is Ellie. So she is going to be Ellie Joy (Chinese Name) D'Angelo. I've changed my blog name also to: http://tochinaforellie.blogspot.com

I received an email yesterday from CHI that their next LID is 1/6/06 which is MINE!!! That's not saying that I'm NEXT but the next group of referrals that CHI receives will have mine in it!!! I'm finally starting to feel like this may actually happen! In order for me to make the March referral group then CCAA would have to match 10 days. They just did 8 days, so I have a feeling that I'm going to miss it by a day or two. However, that would mean that I'll have an April referral and travel in May or June!!! What a perfect time to travel!
Here's hoping that the next few months will fly by.....
Well we are getting closer folks! Just got word that most likely the cut-off date for this next batch of referrals is 12/27/05!!! That means this would be 8 days worth of referrals!!!!!!!! In order for me to be in the next batch, they would have to match 10 days and I don't know if that will happen or not so I'm planning on an April referral definately. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's next month though!
